It was so fun walking through the different rooms and exhibitions and exploring the ways space impacts us in our day to day lives. There were many fun activities and things to do like the slide or the many vr goggles. There was not that much about actual buildings and architecture as it was more abstract themes. Also the museum shop had some really nice stuff.
What an amazing place to visit. It is such an amazing place to learn new things and feel inspired! What a brilliant experience learning about the history of Denmark in such a way. The Danish Architecture Centre is a really fun stop in Copenhagen. They have both rotating and permanent exhibitions. Currently, they are showcasing "Aware," an exhibition that demonstrates the marriage between architecture and the senses through design—it's truly fascinating. The museum provides a great overview of Danish architectural design history and highlights some innovative design projects currently in the works or recently completed. One of the best parts is that it doesn't take too long to visit; you can easily do it in an hour. It is also very kid friendly. I highly recommend downloading the museum app, which features an explore option showing numerous architectural landmarks around the city as you bike or stroll through. Every major city should have something like this - its very cool. The gift shop is also really well curated. This is a must-visit for anyone traveling to Copenhagen!

Interesting exhibits on danish and international architecture. Currently, a section was under renovation and thus the entrance price was lowered. It has an interesting children’s education and activity room and a slide that runs from top to bottom.BesøgstidspunktHverdagVentetidIngen ventetid
The exhibition curated by 3XN was beautiful. It’s worth visiting to understand the history of Danish Architecture and the influence of Danish Architects across the world! Very cool museum. The space is a fully functioning work and cultural space complete with a gym, playground, cafe, innovation center, museum, and more. Unfortunately the Denmark design exhibit was closed when I went but the sustainability and awareness exhibits were quite interesting. The DAC building and exhibitions is one of the most impressive and fun architecture museums I've experienced. Fun for adults and for kids too. Very creative and one of my favorites. Danish architecture has a high place in industry, and this museum really shows why! It’s an interesting walk through the architecture history, as well as social dynamic that shaped the important landmarks. It also leaves a lot is space for fun - like slide, dedicated areas for kids, and special exhibitions. The rooftop bar/restaurant has a lovely terrace with amazing view. *During second visit part of the exhibition was under construction, so the ticket price was adjusted. Love to see this!
At the time of my visit, the DAC suffered some water damage in the "So Danish" exhibition. The admission was offered at reduced price, but they still included some interesting key points about the danish architecture history. The other exhibition "Aware" focused on consciousness and use of the senses, which was quite intriguing and relaxing. After finishing the tour, make sure you get to the ground floor by using the slide!
